After a successful first year, we've added some improvements to our most private retreat location. Being a private lake (meaning no boat landing), this year we're including a 14' fishing boat and four stroke motor at no extra cost. And since the canoe was already down by the lake, we decided it was best to leave that there too. You'll find lifejackets and paddles in the entry closet, and loons waiting to greet you pretty much any time of day you might want to paddle with them.

LWR is fashioned around the same model as our Eagle Point property - simple, high quality vacation experiences. LWR is a 3-BR rambler located about 15 miles north of Grand Rapids, MN on the Wabana chain of lakes - some of the most pristine water in Minnesota - and that's saying a lot. It is a private lake with few neighbors, the kind of place where loons seem loud. Set on five acres of extreme privacy, it's a great place to lose all track of reality and time.

Inside the cabin you'll find everything from home, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, sleeping arrangements for a dozen or more. There's reading materials for all ages, satellite TV (hidden in the basement where it won't change the quiet), and couches everywhere for napping. Outside there is a huge deck overlooking the lake, a gas grill, dock, horse shoe pits, patio table and chairs, and don't forget the boat and canoe for use. There is also a fire pit and room for campers if you want to get a larger group together.
